No need for an extra Spotify laptop anymore 
But where is the squeezebox classic? Is it out of production? Replaced by Squeezebox Touch?
Anyways, I got to try this the coming week.

Unfortunately you’ll still need the laptop. Not for running Spotify, but the Squeezebox Server, since the plug-in isn’t approved by Spotify and therefore does not plug in to Squeezebox.com.
